Life Update

*  Because of the project we had to get out, I actually worked both of my last two Friday's off, so I'm swapping the Friday I worked for this Friday.  We usually don't do that sort of thing, but I think everyone is happy to not have me in the office coughing in misery.

*   Still coughing.  I think I've either pulled something in my ribs from coughing, or it developed into walking pneumonia. (I've had full-blown pneumonia once and walking pneumonia twice.  This is nothing like actual pneumonia, but it does have some similarity to walking pneumonia.  I've got the antibiotics, prescription cough suppressant,  and Advair so there's nothing else to be done for it except rest and get better.   That said, I actually do think that I'm better.  Though I still cough (painfully) , it's less regularly and I seem to be breathing easier in general. 

*   Did make it out to Starbucks this morning for coffee and a egg muffin... primarily because I can't take the antibiotics on an empty stomach (or I really would feel like death), I'm out of eggs, and Starbucks is the only place that's close that serves breakfast through a drive through. (My only other 'less than a mile away' options were Edgar's Bakery and Panera Bread.  Both would require going inside, and the first would require actually eating there. So... Starbucks it was.)

*   Was miserable enough last night that I didn't bother watching Vampire Diaries or Fringe and just let the DVR pick them up instead.  That'll probably be a blessing when there's nothing on TV this afternoon.  (Right now TNT is playing old Supernatural episodes)

*  Yesterday afternoon while lying in bed, I did manage to download and watch this week's Being Erica.  Liked it, but then a Dr. Tom heavy episode that also has Kai?  I'm easy.

*  It is a gorgeous day outside today.  If its a few degrees warmer this afternoon, I may open up the windows.
