Whaaaaa??? Did not see that coming! Is that Pat "gay people cause hurricanes" Robertson expressing concern for how extreme the Republican Party has gotten?
PAT ROBERTSON (10/24/2011): They're forcing their leaders, the frontrunners, into positions that will mean they lose the general election.
Pat "liberals are akin to Nazis" Robertson believes the Republicans are staking out a position that may be unappealing extreme! This guy!

That guy! Pat Robertson is uncomfortable with some of the rhetoric he's heard from Republican candidates running for President of the United States of America. That guy!!

OK, first of all, it's called a turfucken. Second of all, if the sex with the duck is consensual, then I would say yes, he's protected. Pat Robertson! The guy who said all those things we just showed you is telling Republicans to tone it down! It'd be like Facebook saying to you, TMI. That's Internet lingo for "too much information".
Anyway, the question becomes, why? Why is Pat Robertson, aka that crazy fucking guy, telling Republican Presidential candidates to moderate their rhetoric?
PAT ROBERTSON (10/24/2011): I believe it was Lyndon Johnson that said, don't these people realize that if they push me over to an extreme position, that I'll lose the election? ... They're going to make it so I can't win. ... They've got to stop this! It's just so counterproductive!
Not the things that you are saying are wrong, or the things you are saying are bad policy, or callous, or crazy, but that you're right, (whispers) but let's just keep those our little secret.
What he's telling the GOP field is this. If you tell people what we honestly believe, an electoral majority of those people will freak the fuck out! He's saying, the first rule of Right Club: Don't talk about Right Club! By the way, and I want to make this very clear, the second rule of Right Club: make sure the duck consents.
