Earlier this week there was a mass shooting (Terminator style) at a nightclub immediately off the University campus in Tuscaloosa. It didn't get much press coverage outside the state because no one died (though one is still listed in 'extreme critical condition'), and the shooter turned themselves in the next morning.

Today news of a mass shooting and multiple fatalities (50 shot, 12 dead) at a "Dark Knight Rises" midnight showing in Colorado.

At some point it feels as though we became a nation populated with lunatics.
