Heh. The weird thing was that MOST of my answers said "no bias" or "general usage." So I suppose to two or three answers that came up Dixie must have been REALLY Dixie.

I got 48% Yankee, which I guess makes sense--I was born and raised in Arizona, but Mom was born and raised in Connecticut, and I think us kids picked up a lot of her terms. Strangely, Dad was born and raised in Missouri, but I never remember him having an accent or using any Southern regionalisms. OTOH he did a lot of traveling as a young man during the Depression, so if he ever had an accent, I guess he lost it.
