Just read a review of the upcoming issue, so caveat:  I have not read the issue.  Salt grains.

But let me ask,  how screwed up has the philosophy of the 'verse become if a male manipulating and undermining a female Slayer for years, sic-ing the U.S. military on the slayers (with the U.S. invading Tibet/China) and topping it off with a glowhypnol spacefrak 'Universe rape' so as to metaphorically knock-up and birth a 'brand new world' is actually considered the 'good', right and valid option?!

WTF happened to this franchise?

Er...I think that reviewer has the wrong end of the stick. It's never stated that anyone thinks that except Whistler.

The Buffy stuff doesn't get a mention, though. It never will, I suspect.

This issue doesn't say that all that stuff Angel did was good or right, though. Dunno where a reviewer can have got that from.

Fucking comic book guy took over the reigns that what. I'm afraid this still very male oriented medium just isn't suitable for for anything subtle thoughtful storylines that involve the female perspective imo. Well not from bloody DH thats a fact.

It just gets worse and worse, doesn't it? Part of me thinks Christos Gage's mancrush on Angel is one of the worst things to happen to the verse, then I remember Twilight. Someone needs to be whacked in the head over at Dark Horse!
