Finally got around to watching this (last) week's Fringe. Ooookay, Monty Python cartoon homage!
Also have been reading the latest Dresden Files Cold Days. Anyone else think that Butcher has begun reading ASOIAF?
Last, I missed the second half of HIMYM because I didn't know that it was a double episode. (And I'll SCREAM if this show is renewed for another season. Let it go, guys. Let. It. Go!)

Date: 2012-12-18 02:02 pm (UTC)1) Ted is still hurt over one crit in college? Dude, professors regularly did far far worse than that in juries! Like, all of them. It was the ones who didn't try to tear you down that were rare. I had one professor that I could swear was only ever nice to you in class so as to gather more info to publicly slam you in juries.
2) A professor told him he couldn't be an architect? Um, yeah, that happens to every architecture student at least once.
3) He supposedly did the plans for a NYC sky scraper? By himself? In his living room on a DRAWING board????!
4) Do they realise how many millions in commission he would have made from that since apparently he has no employees, no consultants, no computers, and no perceivable overhead.
5) He was presenting that rendering and that model and thought it would inspire anything but mockery? Ted the 80s called. They want their blocky post-Modern architecture back... and it would have been bad Post-Modern even then, because it wasn't just THAT architecture professor who would have given a bad crit on that hilariously awful building.
And I can't even deal with what they're doing to poor Robin.
