Winter is c... Well, actually, I wish winter would just leave already

Truthfully, not a weather post as the weather is in fact quite lovely today. (Though it has been an excessively cool wet spring... which is basically winter around here).

Anyway, this morning while I was dressing the dog went bonkers, jumped on the chair next to the window and had a barking fit. Momentarily unnerved that perhaps the weed-spray company was here today and there I was standing in my underwear without blinds or curtains, I looked through the window to see what had set the puppy off and saw this HUGE HONKING CROW/RAVEN sitting on the railing next to the window.

It was GINORMOUS! I laughingly expected it to open its third eye and start speaking of the Godswood and direwolves!

I suspect it's hunting/stalking that darling gray dove that's nested in my Don Juan climbing rose. I found a tiny broken egg the other day on the patio. But the dove was still there, so it must still have eggs left.
