Closet Project

At last! Closet project is now 98% done. The project was not originally intended to take the whole darn summer. It got rather sidetracked during the flashflood debacle (and the backbreaking labor of digging a French drain down the side of the house).

Finally got around to finishing it up this weekend and just about there (what's left is primarily the stuff that's been relocated to the guest room... which will have to wait until the guest room mess is fixed due to aforementioned 'flashflood debacle'.)

Pics behind the cut (we made and painted all the cubbies from plywood, so not exactly California Custom Closets, but I'm quite proud of them nonetheless. We constructed the 'trouser rack' from plywood, drawerslides and the like, and I have to say they've worked even better than anticipated). Baskets and hangers from 'Home Goods,' and while not the picture of oranization it's still lightyears better than it was... and better than I usually am with organization. (I'm far from a housekeeping whiz. Like, not at all!).
