Actually, I never met her. She had been chronically ill for years. I've seen her night nurse on smoke breaks when walking my dog in the evenings. When I saw a fire truck, the EMTs, and five sheriff's cars drive up Sunday afternoon, I guessed that it probably meant that she had died. (We got confirmation from her family yesterday.) Sad but not unexpected.
