That said, Barishnikov was the classic "bad boyfriend" in all the subtle little ways. Not a bad guy... but really, I never saw any chemistry with Parker.
For me, I saw Carrie as the weak girlfriend (with respect to him and her friends). She didn't seem to know how to balance him and her friends.
And Barishnikov was one of my first crushes so I might have been biased towards him :)
