Okay, honestly, I think it's the best ep of the year. Spike made sense to me, was cool, was sarcastic, was impulsive, was defensive, was reflective. My complicated Spike. (I do quibble about the dumbing down of Spike, but this had far more good than bad. I'll save my characterization bitching for next week when dumbass Fury gets his hands on Spike again). I thought the girl playing Dana did a good job -- scary and sympathetic. The final scene with Spike/Angel was nice. And Andrew was freaking hilarious. I will love Andrew forever for running up and hugging Spike, calling him Gandalf... and saying that Buffy did very little in Chosen. :)
Much love for Andrew.
