Methinks, SdK was having some fun.

http://www.kryptonsite.com/smallvillespoilers.htm

Okay, so there's a vampire named Buffy... who gets killed. Professor Fine kills someone with a spike through the skull. Oh, and he plays pool with Lex. Hee! SdK clearly was having a few jollies.

ETA: JM apparently told Wrongda that he's at Smallville "for at least 10 eps" and also that Joss called him to discuss a Spike Movie. (Nice try, Joss. But you can't yank me around any more. I DON'T BELIEVE YOUR BULLSHIT even when you're feeding it to JM! I'll buy a Spike Movie when I see it on the TV.)

Heee, I heart SDK! I am having fun with these spoilers :)

As for Joss Whedon, I'd rather not to comment, cause I tend to lose my cool when it comes subjects related to him. *takes a deep breath*

Those spoilers are just hilarious and boy does SdK know how to lure all us Buffy fans into watching this show. Hee! And Joss, the only way you're going to convince us is to show us a signed contract. Otherwise we're wise to you buddy, stop already with the bullshit.

I did love how during the press tour, The WB's Janollari made it very clear that IT WAS ALL JOSS'S FAULT there was no Spike movie. That The WB would LOVE to do one; but Joss is too busy.

And I love the BtVS parody.

Yeah, sure, Joss is salivating to to a Spike movie. Any minute now.

Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if the knowledge that JM has a shiny new fandom ready to snap him up, and perhaps some rumor of JM's increasing stroppiness on the subject at cons, have increased Joss's enthusiasm for the idea. JM's always been his fallback, I think--Oh, David and SMG may walk out, but I'll always have James at my beck and call! He might be realizing that perhaps he won't always have JM at the snap of a finger.

And wouldn't that be sweet. Really, I'm so glad now that JM has this opportunity because if it opens doors for him he doesn't have to be Joss's ass monkey anymore.

Which brings up a question I've had, how do Smallville fans feel about James showing up?

As far as I know, majority of them are insanely happy and they think James is a great actor. TWOP Smallville forums have nothing but great things to say about him.

I don't hang out at any Smallville boards, but everything I've heard from people who do is that most Smallville fans were very excited about JM coming on board.

Good to know, I had been wondering.

I can definitely see Joss being annoyed with his ace in the hole deciding to move on.
