shipperxOkay, have watched through Ep 7... Thoughts:
Trixie is slowly growing on me. She's self destructive as hell because she takes some damn dangerous chances, but she seems to have intelligence that she actively works against. And she seems to have a heart under it.
Joanie also seems interesting.
I also like Calamity Jane a great deal. The actress is very good and you feel for her.
Like Wild Bill's friend (don't know his name).
Like Al's bartender. And Al is heinous yet fascinating.
I really don't care for Alma at all. She seems very passive-aggressive, and there's something very cold there under it all.
(What does it say about me that I care more for the prostitutes than the "lady?")
And I know Bullock's the "hero" (as much as anyone is), but it isn't coming off as heroic so much as... I don't know. There's something uptight, controlled... something there is almost self-serving (honestly, he kind of reminds me of Buffy. Here, I am hero, and I know I'm the hero 'in the little movie in my head.' He does the right thing more often than not. And he isn't heartless. It just feels... somehow, it feels intellecutualized. I don't know that it's really coming from his gut. It's head oriented not heart oriented. In some way he, like Alma, seems cold and controlling.
Oh, and I like the Doctor as well. (Although, I realized that the preacher probably had a brain tumor before they diagnosed it on screen).
