Bunch of miscellaneous stuff...

1) No home game this weekend! Yay! Isn't it terrible to pay all that money for season tickets and then be glad when there's a week you don't have to go? 5 home games in a row is just too damn much. Especially with the way they've been scheduled. All these night games have meant not making it home until the wee hours of Sunday morning. This week's game was supposed to have started at 2:30 but with the rain delay it didn't actually start until 4 (thank goodness I have covered seats in the deck) and then we went into DOUBLE overtime... and still lost 31 to 34 (Damn refs! Come on, they're allowed to celebrate a little at an interception in overtime when the team they're playing is ranked 10th in the nation and we're not ranked at all. That damn penalty screwed us). But, hey, at least I don't have to go to a ballgame this Saturday!

2) They're moving the O.C. to the timeslot opposite AtS. This isn't good news for AtS. I can just see a bunch of that Smallville lead-in flipping channels for the O.C. (Not that I haven't been in a made mood regarding AtS tonight. I was reading a Spuffy thread and any talk of Spuffy inevitably ends up digging up my vast amount of bitterness for the 3 years of fan baiting M.E. did with Spuffy only to end up being revealed as fan teases).

3) Sigh... so far this week I've seen bits and pieces of OLTL's killing off of Al Holden (still think that was a bad idea) and then of course still anticipating the murder of Jack Deveraux (someday I'm going to have to figure out why this pisses me off so much when I don't even watch the show any longer and haven't in years. It just pisses me off on principal). AMC also needs to move the hell on in the Michael Cambias murder mystery (but at least that's one murder I can enjoy).

4) Giddy good news! Please, please, PLLLLEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEEE TV gods, let this one be true! A friend passed this note along:

Unofficially, FARSCAPE is being readied for a new production. An anonymous tipster recently told webmaster Danny Horn over at ToughPigs.com (a Muppet/Jim Henson fan site) that FARSCAPE was being prepared for a 4-hour mini-series for TV, and that they begin shooting in November. However, earlier last week, there was a dedication for a statue of Jim Henson at his alma mater in Washington, and of course, Brian Henson was among those who spoke. Some people who went were Scapers, and they talked to Brian and his associates after the unveiling. He let it slip that a FARSCAPE feature film had been greenlit. So wait for official word as to whether the FARSCAPE revival will be in the form of a mini-series or theatrical movie.

Please, please, please, let Crichton and Aeryn be resurrected!

What, bitter? Us? ;) I find myself trying to avoid the AtS commercials during Everwood to avoid raking anything up that's better left alone.
