LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Two estranged brothers encounter occult challenges while searching for their missing father in "Supernatural," a new WB thriller premiering Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Part quest fantasy, part family drama and part scare-the-kernels-out-of-your-popcorn fright flick, "Supernatural" opens 20 years ago on a horrifying night for the Winchester clan, when a shadowy figure appeared at the cribside of infant Sam, then whisked mother Mary away to a fiery death.

I kinda wanted to watch the premiere, but it's going to be on while I'm at rehearsal, and I don't care enough to tape it even though I'm taking Gilmore Girls. :) It seems a little serious and scary to me (Buffy was scary, but at least it had comic relief), but you've got the bonus of Jared Padalecki, who's a real cutie (except I didn't like his Gilmore Girls character after about the first season). So, that long-winded rambling was my advice. ^_^

Well as I have Sex and the City and The Amazing Race on TiVo, I suppose I can watch the premiere and see whether I like it.

Heh. Older Brother is the long lost twin of Samantha Brady on Days of Our Lives. I still remember the actor as Eric Brady (Nothin' like being named after your child molesting great uncle. Then again, his twin was named after a murderess so I suppose that's fair.)

I've seen both good and bad reviews, but I like scary stuff, so I figure I'll at least try it. Also "Bones." "Rescue Me" ends tonight, so I kind of need a Tuesday show. Or two.

Oh wow, Tuesday? Is this going to be opposite Nip/Tuck? If so then Nip/Tuck wins, because I have to, have to, have to know what happens to Christian Troy! Poor woobie was left with a slasher/rapist in the Season 2 finale (and all the spoilers I've read sound awesomely screwed up. Apparently they're planning to make "who is The Carver" a long arc murder (well, slasher/rapist) mystery. All that I know so far is that Christian ends up being arrested for it! Poor Christian. He's gonna need lots of filthy sex to get over all that, right? :)

I saw it and you most likely already read my review.

I really did like it but it is based on only the first episode and lord knows a lot of shows go down hill right after that (Prison Break anyone?) but if it keeps going like the first one I think it will be a fun (read scary) show.

My son and his girlfriend watched it and they love *good* horror movies. Both of them really enjoyed it and are waiting anxiously for it to start.

I saw the premiere at Comic Con and thought it was horrible--100% lame, predictable WB teen melodrama bullshit. Really sexist, too--the (few) women are all mothers/wives/girlfriends/victims.
