Looks like no TV for me. They've taken over the network channels following tornadoes. And I've gone through the cable channels 3 times. Nothing is on. Hell, I've even watched everything I have stored on TiVo. I could read, but I'm tired and I can't bring myself to. I SHOULD write, but see explanation above. I've been trying to download the second episode of Rome (yep. I'm still having trouble downloading it, and I've used several different torrents by now).
Oh, wait, ABC just decided not to have weather 24/7. Extreme Home Makeover is on. Well, that's something. (Although, geez! Really, lay off having Ty do a battle re-enactment. That's just CHEESE!!!)
Anyway, weekend has been HOOOTTTTTTT. Jeez! Doesn't Mother Nature know it's late September? It was something like 95 during the game. We had a good breeze though. We won. The score looks like a more definitive win than it actually was. Still, we won, so yay.
Since it was an early game we made it back and Mom and my sister and I took my neice shopping for school clothes (although the heat makes it really difficult to choose fall clothes). I want a deep blue velvet blazer, but I can't seem to find one that both fits well and isn't outrageously priced. There has to be one somewhere. I did buy one of those Temperpedic pillows for my bed. Have to see how that works out.
And am I boring anyone to death? Oh well, (precluding actual tornadoes rather than just anxious weathermen) not a particularly exciting night.
