LOST - Hour 1

First, it has to be mentioned: Sayid kicks ass!

Okay, so slightly more linear:

* It looks like back to where last season ended and, turns out, the guy in the coffin last year has a name that I don't recognize.

* Desmond seems to know a lot about explosives (or at least, as he put it, knows enough to blow himself up).

* Keamy is dead, which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

* Whoa. Walt has grown!! A lot. And he knows the name of the guy in the coffin...

* So I'm guessing that we'll meet the guy in the coffin at some point. It's the "Show a gun in Act I; use it in Act III" thing.

* Poor Sawyer, he's never allowed more than a quarter of the information about what's going on.

* And aren't the crackers that Hurley gave Sawyer ten years old? Eww!

* Now there's a reversal, Locke is right and Jack is wrong (Okay, I'm sure Locke is wrong too because he's creeazy. But YAY about Jack also being wrong.)

* "Lie to them Jack. If you do it half as well as you lie to yourself..." Hee! But then, what would Jack be if he wasn't full of self-importance and self-righteousness? He wouldn't be Jack that I sort of love to hate.

* Okay, Michael is vowing "it'll be okay" which means that it so won't be.

* Juliet's hair sure is pretty to be sans blow dryer and curling iron. I have hair envy.

* "Back here"? So redheaded archaeologist whose name I've completely forgotten has been the island before?

* Four dimensional space? Er... aren't 4 dimensions, by definition, space-time? Oh, and did anyone catch this article ? Physics freaks me out, yo.

* Dude! Keamy isn't dead! Does the island want him too? Because Sawyer just checked that he was really, most sincerely dead...didn't he? I thought he did. Guess I was wong. Was I? I suppose this is what re-wind is for.) And Keamy is one sick bastard.

* And Ben makes sure that Keamy is really, most sincerely dead.

* Yep. That's Ben. Also a sick bastard.

* Redhead's name is Charlotte! Thanks, Daniel, that would have really bugged me if I couldn't think of the name.

* So how does Daniel know that the island is going to move?

* I guess this is what happens when you're shooting bullets around vehicles, you pierce the fuel tank.

* Sawyer's gonna jump, isn't he? Sawyer is gonna jump! I suppose the bright side is that now he probably won't be blown up on the ship... if he isn't swept out to the Pacific in a rip tide. So that leaves me only worrying that Desmond and Jin may be blown up.
