Not even about Buffy. I'm just watching todays All My Children on SoapNet and I do have to give kudos to Alicia Menshew (playing SMG's old role of Kendal Hart) and Eden Reigel (as Kendal's sister Bianca). The pair of them managed to make me cry. Yeah, yeah, it's a manipulative, overly dramatic, and out and out cruel storyline, but the Kendal/Bianca scene was heartbreaking as Kendal had to tell her younger sister Bianca that Bianca's baby had died. (Well, not really. There was actually a baby-swap and someone else has her baby. See, I said it was a manipulative soap plot) but Alicia and Eden heartbreaking--over the top a bit, and incoherent in grief, but very moving nontheless. Not sure I can imagine SMG's Kendal in the scene. She was never that vulnerable. Alicia and Eden were way, way, way too emotional for that. And, yeah, maybe over the top... but then it's still emotionally moving because Bianca just lost her infant and the two characters had invested so much emotion in that baby.

An amusing start to a damn funny stand-alone eppi in Season 2 Farscape. Claudia Black really does kick butt as an actress. Claudia playing "Crichton" was pretty damn funny. And I'm not talking just the hilarious scene where "Crichton in Aeryn's Body" behaves like any guy would when trapped in a woman's body (touching naughty parts and opening up the shirt to bounce breasts) then giving the "What? I'm a GUY! That's what guys DO!" explanation when caught during his "private time" (hee!) but also in her way of assuming an American accent and male stance. Then to see her turned into Rygel. She did the most hilarious version of Rygel as well.
And Simcoe's "Chiana in D'Argo's body" was also damn funny. From the way he did the girly run to his feeling up "Crichton" you could tell he was having a hell of a good time. In a "slashiness knows no bounds" scene, Chiana in D'Argo's body feels up Rygel in Crichton's body. Heh!

Also hilarious was Crichton/Aeryn having to teach Rygel/Crichton how to pee in a human man's body. "Take out. Aim it like a gun and shoot." . . .leading to Rygel's pee-gasm.
Okay, okay, clearly an ep big with the potty humor. Not exactly a high-brow ep but a damn funny one.
