Misc. Stuff

* Called in sick today. My cold morphed into an ear infection (I have a lifetime history of them) and by late yesterday afternoon, I was in ear-piercing pain. Thankfully, Sis is a doctor and called in numbing ear drops and antibiotics. I tried to go to work. Woke up on time, took a shower... ran a fever... felt like shit. In the end, I gave up and called in sick. Lost most of the morning and a chunk of the afternoon to sleep. At least I'm beginning to feel better than death warmed over.

* While sleeping this morning, I think I may have come up with a way to solve a problem that had me stumped in my Spuffy fic. Unfortunately, solving it means that I'll have to backtrack and write the Spike/Dawn/Lindsey scene (not that kind) for the third time.

* Watched some Season 2 BtVS DVDs (I was looking for a Dru scene that I never did find). Boy, the fashions of Season 2 are looking dated. Guess time is against us all in the end.

* Saw that JM gave an interview to TWOP. That was... a surprise. Of all the places I'd expect to see a JM interview, TWOP is not one of them. They managed to play nice, but given the history of the place, it remains a surprise.

* "Reaper" replays tonight

* "My Name is Earl" season premiere tonight.

* One of JM's episodes of "Without a Trace" also plays tonight.

* Thank God for the existence of ear numbing drops, Benedryl, and Afrin. Life would be far less pleasant without them.
