Looong Weekend
Nov. 18th, 2007 10:03 pm::head desk:: Long damn weekend.
Killer deadline at work is still a killer (and it's why Chapter 2 of "Arriving Somewhere Not Here" hasn't been posted. I'm sorry! I've meant to. It's just this project at work is kicking my ass.) Worked until 8pm Friday. Saturday was football day and... and OMG it was awful! There was not one positive thing to say about the game. It sucked. It sucked hard. Then it sucked some more. There's no excuse for it... which is why it sucked.
And, now, Sunday. Got up. Got Starbucks. Went to office. Worked until 7pm. ::head desk::
On the bright side, I'm off at noon on Tuesday, then off to the beach for a long Thanksgiving vacation. (Will work on ASNH while at the beach.) Will try to post Chapter 2 before I go. (crosses fingers and hopes)
Caught this week's "Amazing Race" due to DVR, and I have to say that camel milking rocked as a challenge!
