Spring

Well I suppose it's unofficially officially spring now.  Not because of the calendar.  And not because of sunshine (it's been gray and cool all week).  Not because of the first flowers.  (My daffodils have come and gone.  And the tuilips are on their last days).  And not because the roses have bloomed (i have two blooms today).  Or the azaleas (the white one is fully bloomed.  The Tabor pink ones are about 3/4.  The purple formosa's only have buds).  It's not even the day of green stuff that coats everything.  That's been going on for over a week. This week's rain has actually helped to knock that down.

Nope.  It's because today my spring allergies kicked in.  I gave up and went for the Claritin-D because the headache, the itchy eyes, and head-pounding like whoa.

And as I find myself saying every year... Claritin is a wonderful drug.
