Wuthering Heights

Can I just say that I think that the current PBS (probably BBC version) of Wuthering Heights that aired last night kind of mostly sucks? FIrst, though I"ve liked the actor before (see icon if him int Elizabeth), I think he's woefully miscast as Heathcliff. And the actress playing Catharine is very definitely lovely, but doesn't at all fit my concept of Catherine Earnshaw.
Finally, whoever wrote the script has little narrative focus. I've read the book multiple times and I'm having a hard time following the plot. Plus, I didn't DVR it so I cannot re-wind, but I'm thinking they left out some major dialog, especially in the pivotal (but anti-climactic in this version) "I am Heathcliff" scene. I don't remember her saying that he was beneath her now, and that was rather pivotal. All in all, lovely faces to look at but wrong, wrong, wrong in so many ways.
