Okay, I'm going shallow (although I was quite happy that Bigelow won best director).  So... fashion!

* Charlize Theron's rose booby dress was awful.
* Sarah Jessica Parker was doing an Oompa Loompa impersonation.
* Sanda Bullock's dress looked better on stage than on the red carpet.
* Demi Moore's was lovely
* Queen Latifa's one shouldered pink number was lovely.
* Kirstin Stewarts dress... nothing wrong with it, but it was kind of boring.
* Elizabeth Banks's gray number was quite nice.
* Amanda Seyfried is young enough to pull off a princess gown and looked nice.
* Cameron Diaz's dress did nothing for me, but since she so often shows up like a train wreck, this was good for her.
* Kate Winslet's outfit was a bit austere.  But she looked gorgeous.
* Penelope Cruz's dress was a 'meh' for me, but the color was great.
* Great dislike of Sigourney Weaver's dress. It could have been good.  It's just that the shoulder proportions  seemed off to me.  The draping should have been narrowed at the shoulder so that she didn't look like she was on the verge of being overwhelmed by her dress... which seemed to be a theme of the evening..
* The top half of Zoe Saldana's dress was wonderful, but the skirt looked like a fluffy purple monster trying to devour her.
* And another ruffle overload
* And add Lopez to the "dress might eat her" collection.  It's not the runway.  Tone it down.
