Eeeiiiiii!!! Sawyer Episode! And Flash-sideways Sawyer is a cop! Bwhahahahahahahaha! Awesome. And Miles is his buddy-cop movie partner! And Charlotte is his one night stand (that ended disastrously... as it should... because she belongs with Faraday!)
Anyway, on the whole, not as good as last week. And I'm not at all surprised by the 'unfinished' aspect of the Flashsideways. Sayid's was unfinished as well. I figure that's because we have a 'rest of the story' before the end of the series. (And I'm still rather intrigued by the fanwank I read somewhere that all things may lead to Locke's wedding. Someone pointed out that Damon's...er... what was his Lost character's name? Boone. Anyway, Boone's mother ran a wedding business. And Locke's fiance mentioned inviting Locke's father. So James (wouldn't flash-sideways Sawyer be James?) search could logically lead him to the same event. Locke working at the school could explain Ben showing up at a wedding. And Hurley and Rose having helped Locke could also possibly score invites? Anyway, it could be a possibility.
At any rate, Lost-sideways James opened up to Miles. Sideways James was also careful enough to not shoot the wrong man. And, I bet, he'll actually come to peace with his search without killing Sawyer this time. And I admit, I hee-d when Detective James Ford a) didn't get Charlie out of the drunk tank and b) caught Kate (and I'm willing to bet that this time she may well not have murdered her step father.) However, just because I hee-d over James meeting Kate, I'm still holding out hope that he's who Juliet was asking out for coffee.
Now, what mythological figure fits old Smokey? Which one had a crazy mom?
And I figure it makes sense for Sawyer to play both sides against the middle. I mean, between Widmore and UnLocke, who would you trust? That's right. Neither.
At any rate, as written, not as good as last week, but still fun. :) Cop!Sawyer. Bwhahahahahaha! (in a good way).
