Reaction to the finale...

Is that all there is? Quentin and Kit -- obviously expendable characters -- are The Carver. Not that it wasn't tense as hell during the "cut a hand off/cut a penis off" scene, but not really the big shocking identity thing they were making it out to be. Pretty much the easiest answer they could go for.

Now my real criticism... Dude! If Matt cut off Cherry's penis she would NOT have been able to just get up and clock/kill the neo nazi! If you slice off someone's penis they're in DIRE danger of bleeding to death... and they had Cherry get up and move around like she wasn't DYING?! And, oh, they aren't going to mention what happened to Cherry? Not going to take her to the emergency room?!

Eh. All that build-up and they go for the easiest answer. Meh.

Dude, what a buzzkill of an ending. I saw Quentin and did an *OMG eyeroll*, then when his sister was in on it with him? Bah, I was just bored. The basement scene was far more interesting and twisted to me. Will next season be all about the reprecussions of that? And WTF is goin' on with the fetus? She wants to move back in because it's a flipper baby, or what? Gah!
Definately some wack ass questions to be answered, but I guess after the Famke Jansen=Dude thing, my expectations are through the roof. Now that was fucking fantastic.

I definitely think that the baby is deformed and Julia's not telling Shawn. And I think that is going to be central to next season. That was actually reasonably intriguing. The resolution to The Carver? Yawn. Predictable much?

Yeah, that wack-ass, long dream sequence couldn't have been for nothing, or at least I hope it wasn't, because, dude. Too long, too WTF, and damn near too ridiculous, even for this show, IMO. ;)

That was ... weird. I sort of liked it once we realized Quentin had an accomplice, but up till then, eh. And the crosscutting between the Nazi dad and Quentin was freaky.

Oh, I just realized. The reason why the carving of Quentin was more amateur was because Kit did it.

I did like how they had Liz brought in because she'd been getting all that sperm. Dude! I knew that sperm cream was going to have be be significant at SOME point.

I was totally pissed about Quentin being the Carver. Felt like it was a cheap resolution with almost zero payoff for the watcher.

Whatever -- I'm just about ready to give up on this show. And can I tell you how sick I am of Julia and her passive-aggressive drama? Bleh.
