Hmm... Never wished everyone a merry Christmas. Oh well, consider it wished. I'm rather tired because frankly I ended up having to do 99.5% of the cooking this Christmas. Made out nicely with the gifts, though. Have to work most of this week. More than half the office is out, and I HAVE the vacation time to take, but I have a school that has to be out for bid on the 16th so here I sit, and my office is freaky hot. Someone turn on the damned air conditioning!

I wouldn't be surprised if we have tornadoes or something because it's actually in the 70s, and that's just abnormally high temps for this time of year. It's sunny and clear too. The plants are going to get messed up, no doubt because this cannot last. Though, looking at the forecast looks like it's supposed to continue through the New Year.

Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (and a new Project Runway tonight!

ETA:Damn! Apparently tonight's PR is a re-run. Guess there's nothing on TV tonight then.)

Happy New Year!

Hate to burst your bubble, but no new Project Runway tonight, just reruns of all this seasons to date.. Next week the new ones start up. I'm sure too few people watching TV this holiday week.

I'm still annoyed that Daniel F got cut, instead of Santiago, or whatever his name is. I really hate his customey, no-one-in-their-right-mind- would-ever-wear-that clothes.

It was a damn shame that Daniel F was cut. Apparently in the Podcast Tim Gunn revealed that Santino's hissyfit at Nina Garcia went on for an entire 90 minutes! He said that basically they ended up thinking tht Santino had really gone over the edge and is kind of nuts and then they made the safe choice of cutting Daniel F because at worst all Daniel would do would be tear up and cry whereas they weren't sure that Santino wouldn't go postal.

So unfair! Daniel probably wouldn't have made it to the end but his black lace collection was a damn site better than Santino's Springtime for Hitler lingerie collection. I think that the producers probably had a hand in keeping Santino purely for the drama factor (much as they kept Wendy Pepper last year) because now most people are definitely rooting against Santino.

At least Daniel went out as a good human being. I even got a bit misty when he left. I doubt his nerves could have withstood the entire series, he was bound to not finish something but this week shouldn't have been his week... and god knows he's an infinitely better human being than Santino. At least Daniel doesn't need to be ashamed of himself.

I really don't get why the judges rave about Santino's clothes. And I'm not suprised to read that the breakdown lasted that long as he looks ready to kill whenever anyone else wins a challenge. I hope they have the guts to cut him soon.
