Did I hear that drove me insane because s/he/it was bugshit crazy and only ever yanked people's chains with stupid, pointless 'theories' William the Poet of BtVS "Stakehouse" infamy ('Oh, he's a writer for the show! No! Really! He is [/Moonstruck slap]) make his way over to the Lost fandom? Because if WtP isn't over there, he really really should be. I give to you...

From amlocke: On Lost, did Henry Gale really tell the truth to Sayid?
I don't think so. I think the Wizard of Oz references ("Henry Gale" is Dorothy's uncle and the Wizard came to Oz in a hot-air balloon) were put in there to show us he was fibbing. And did you see that look he gave Sayid? Pretty much sealed the deal for me that Gale's Other-worldly.

From joeynickel: Regarding Lost: Bert Lahr played Zeke the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz! Another Oz-Zeke connection!

The most amazing thing about WtP was so many people actually believed in him so completely. And protested and pointing out of nonsense as treason.

I always thought he and KC of Crawford Mansion would be a good match.
