Stephen Colbert:
So everyone wants to know who Romney will pick [as his running mate]. Well, FOX has a way for us to figure it out.
Video Clip of FOX and Brain-Damaged Propogandists FRIENDS :
Perhaps you can just look to Wikipedia because the day before Sarah Palin was named John McCain's running mate, her wikipedia page was updated 68 times
Stephen Colbert:
68 times. That's impressive. Once she was on the ticket, she did not edit herself ONCE...
So the number of times a wikipedia page is edited predicts the chances of the VP slot.
That means we could be looking at Vice President SEASON 6 OF BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
(Pic of the Season 6 DVD set and huge audience applause)
So, Nation, let your voice be heard on this decision. Go on wikipedia and make as many edits as possible to your favorite Republican VP contender...
What amuses me about this is imagining how Colbert and staff decided on Season 6 BtVS as their example. Either he (or someone on his staff) knows enough about Buffy to know not just that Buffy would be something that's edited a lot but which specific season was the most controversial and subject to endless warring wiki-edits, OR they googled something with an incredible number of wiki-edits and Season 6 of Buffy popped up.
Either way, it cracks me up.
