Stupid, frelling cable modem has apparently died. I spent an hour on the phone WAITING for tech help from my cable company only to be told the signal is fine and that apparently it's my modem which is screwed... which means I now have to go buy a new modem. Blech! (And now I'm actually having to use dial-up... which I've forgotten how damn slow dial-up actually is.) Sigh. I guess I'm going to Best Buy tomorrow.
