Also... what's this about LJ changing formats? Dude, if I wanted a myspace account, I'd go out and GET one. I don't want LJ turning into myspace.


ETA: And has there been some Buffy Fandom uproar that I missed out on? There seem to be hints of possible strife somewhere in the Internetesphere, but I don't know of any outside of the insanely-stupid-and-thus-not-worth-worrying-about Buffy hatememe. Is there something causing fandom angst that I'm unaware of?

And I'll be curious to see if anyone answers you about your last question. I've been away and I come back and lots of people seem to be mopey and quiet and/or deleting their journals. It has me somewhat confuzzled.

I thought both were amusing and well done posts.

And, yeah, I realize I've been busy, but I've totally missed whatever it is that's upsetting people. (And if it's the meme upsetting people, then I think they should realize it's the people within the meme who are coming off as petty not the people who have been ridiculed in it. Also, they can be as pissy about the plot of BtVS and AtS all they want, the story isn't changing. Ever.

And yes, dovil's post was hi-larious also I thought. But I think that I hadn't refreshed my flist after your ETA.

I didn't even look at the hate meme except where someone linked me to where germaine_pet was infiltrating it with love. I really try to keep my fandom experience drama-free and it mostly works.

BTW, your header is making me want to finish watching Farscape so that I can actually read John/Aeryn fic without getting spoiled.

This is why I decided to never go there, never read it, and to simply not give a damn if people are still cheesed off at Spike and Spuffies after all these years.

In my opinion, it's the participants in the hatememe that look stupid and petty. Not the folks being hated upon.

I haven't seen anything especially uproarious but some people seem to have got into some heated debates recently and I've seen some of the fallout on my F list . Hence my post . We are all fans of the show but there are always going to be aspects on which we agree to differ , arguing to the point where feelings get hurt over a fabulous but fictional character always struck me as... a bit odd really :)


And I hope they leave LJ alone! I hate Myspace !

There was a new code push. Maybe it was that that caused the changing. It was mentioned to have happened and to be fixed.
