Yeah, I miss it too. I didn't get the whole S/M shipper thing until the end of "Post-Modern Prometheus" (which is in this vid), and then I became a full-on one during that motel scene in "Requiem." Yeah, late to the party, I know, but once I jumped on board I was really annoyed when Duchovny decided to reduce his participation. I don't think the show ever really recovered from it. Sigh.
I know. XF seems to have faded from my memory until I end up glimpsing one of the good episodes then all the old love comes rushing back and I remember that when XF was good it was awesome.
I honestly don't remember when I became a shipper. I can't even remember when I started watching. But I was hard core shipper from way back. Just don't remember how far back.
And, yeah, unfortunately, the show went a few seasons too long. That said, when XF was good it was rockin'.
Nice vid! Aren't they pretty, though? I never saw the whole series, because no one would stay up with me and I was too scared to watch it by myself I couldn't stay up that late, but I think it may be time to invest in the DVDs.
That Mr. Duchovny -- I could just eat him for breakfast every morning. * stops to contemplate this other, more interesting life * And I'll never forget the shot of him on the cover of Rolling Stone. It literally stopped me in my tracks when it hit the newstands, and I was good for nothing for the rest of the day. Now where exactly did I file that thing, anyway ...
