Hehehehe!  Old grudges die hard.  Saw this on TVGuide's "Ask Ausiello" and had to laugh:

Question: If you see David Boreanaz at the Fox party, ask him if there's any chance of a Buffy-Angel reunion movie.— Karisma

Ausiello: It's been well documented that the Big B detests talking about his vampire past, but I bit the bullet and asked him anyway. Although he didn't come out and say it'll be a cold day in hell before he takes part in such a project, it was heavily (and rather uncomfortably) implied.

Heh!  I figure it has to be a Buffy/Angel shipper because it was couched as a Buffy-Angel REUNION movie rather than a "Buffy" movie or even a "Buffy" and "Angel" movie.

Look, folks, if "The Girl in Question" didn't make it clear, the triangle will never, ever, ever be resolved!  Period.  Nevah.  Isn't going to happen.  Ship whoever you like in any combo that you like, but canon will forever and always be left open to interpretation because Joss doesn't have the balls to make Buffy choose and doesn't want her with a vampire anyway.

Oh, and the mystery of which BtVS actor is in talks with ER has been solved:

Question: You promised us a hint about which Buffy alum was in the running for the new male nurse role on ER. Spill!— Drew

Ausiello: Before Kip Pardue won the role, producers had been in talks with *ar* *lu**s. 

Pretty easily translates into Mark Blucas.

Hey, he's been dissing B/A 4 Evah! for years now (remember when he once sai that Buffy had only ever been a crush for Angel?) The Duckies don't care. It's B/A or DIE!

Sarah has said one or two good things about Spuffy, but she tends to be B/A, and James thinks Buffy loves Angel, so I just take it in stride. I agree, David doesn't seem like he's been to thrilled about Buffy/Angel as a couple for a long time. In fact, didn't he pretty much tell James that Spike could have her?

David said it. I don't think Angel could ever say it, but there was an article during Season 5 AtS where both JM and DB kept saying that Buffy should end up with the other vampire. (JM saying that Buffy really loved Angel and DB saying that Spike could have her because Angel had moved on.) >:)

Actually, thinking back, there were several times in BtVS Seasons 6 and (until the WB okayed Angel crossing over for Chosen) most of BtVS Season 7 where DB kept saying in articles that Spike could have Buffy for all he cared.

Basically, it came across loud and clear repeatedly that DB, personally, could not have cared less about the B/A ship. He only began discussing it positively again when the WB okayed his crossover with BtVS for "End of Days" and "Chosen," and even then it was like he was just giving out the party line, he'd long since established that he really didn't care about B/A one way or the other.

Wahahaha. David hates Bangel, he is being saying it for years. And Sarah won't touch Buffy if she was starving either, so what is the point of the question. IF the ships were ever to be resolved it would be in the comics/books. And I really woulnd't want to see that, I am afraid Joss would really be vicious, because the crueler the better and more interesting he thinks the relationship is.

Oh, absolutely. I cannot imagine wishing for Joss to finish up a ship. The only ships he ends 'happily' are the ships he knows pisses fans off (well, you know, I think I just came up with a reason he could bring himself to end B/A happily!) Anyway, any relationship he thinks is the least bit interesting he ends in pain, infidelity or death (bonus points if he can bring all three).

And, yeah, DB made clear ages ago that he truly couldn't care less about the Bangle 4 evah! schtick.

I'm still wondering why when they said "male nurse" and "BtVS", Mark Blucas was the first name that popped into my head. I think it probably has to do with the totally hilarious website someone put up during Season 4 which was "Riley Finn Male Lesbian." (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Between Chosen and TGIQ there weren't enough clues to tell the little quackers that it's over and don't be holding your breath for Joss to say anything at all in the comics. I'd be floored if the names of Spike and Anya even get mentioned, let alone Angel.

Hell, I think one of two of the writers have been quoted point blank that the triangle will NEVER be resolved and that they deliberately leave it up to the fans... which, I know totally pisses off Ducks because they are completely offended that Spike/Spuffy has any validity at all, even in fanwanking/fanfic.
