I liked this ep. And, someone at Lost must have really liked Deadwood because this week had both "Joanie" and "Trixie" around. Trixie I easily recognized last week, but something about Sawyer's visitor kept reminding me of someone... and finally it hit! She's "Joanie" only without blond hair and the tophat.
Thoughts about the ep:
Knew that they'd have Kate retract the "I love him," but all in all, I enjoyed it (I'm not a Skate shipper, but it was nicely executed in having her say she took it back, but having her actions prove otherwise. Also, having Sawyer's actions prove that he really does care as well.) However, I must say, I knew that the "Others" were just mindfucking Sawyer. They would have needed to have opened his chest, I mean, breaking open his sternum, to install a pacemaker. If they had done that he would have needed to glance down to that little cut on his chest. (Plus they immediately followed that up with showing that they didn't have the equipment for major surgery.) Still "Ben" remains is as creepily disturbing as ever.
Oh, and I laughed at Sawyer reading in jail. I gather that his tendency to sit around reading novels didn't begin post plane crash.
On another note, I'm willing to lay good money on the person with the spinal tumor being Locke. A tumor which shifted could explain how Locke became paralyzed then not paralyzed after the plane crash.
Finally, I like Desmond.

Robb was sad to see Trixie's tenure on Lost come to an end.
