Unintentionally Funny

Okay, so the "Rosie pisses someone off with a rant, verse 2026" is making rounds on things like Yahoo and the AOL sign on screen (it's currently some flack with Donald Trump about the Miss USA pagent).  For the record, I think Trump is a ginormous dick and Rosie an obnoxious blow-hard, so it's a battle of the egomaniacs here).  Anyway, when reading the little write-up, am I the only one who found this part funny:

"Far from apologizing, in a new entry that went up on her personal Web site Wednesday night, O'Donnell reproduced a lengthy article from the online encyclopedia site Wikipedia about Trump [...] In her posting, O'Donnell adds in her blog's haiku style: "loving the wiki/ i use it/ do u."

I had to laugh.  

Wiki?   That's your defense?   Seriously?  (And BTW, did you find a time machine and become a 13  again?  If you haven't, then spell YOU.  It's only three letters.  It's not that difficult.)

Anyway, sweetie, honey (in the Southern vernacular of 'you're an idiot'), when having a kerfuffle,  don't rely on the Wiki.  Absolutely anyone can post to Wiki.  Using it as the sole source of defense never proves anything in a kerfuffle other than the person using it is woefully naive or quite stupid (but it does up the hilarity factor for wank connoisseurs when someone trots out Wiki as "proof" of...well... anything.) 

Aw, Rosie, when are you going to hook up with Anne Rice so we can have some really choice nuttiness?

I have to go through my website archives, but I'm pretty sure Rosie and Anne had some interaction YEARS ago :D

Remember, Rosie loved Tom Cruise in IWTV, and then she starred in that awful horrible trainwreck of a movie version of Exit to Eden :)

OMFG! The Anne Rice rant! Loved it! Especially the 'I am such a perfect writer that I don't need or want editors to lay a finger on one single word I write' [paraphrased] bit. I spit Diet Coke on my monitor at that part! That's . . . that's like some of the authors at ff.net - the "I don't use a beta and I'm proud of it. I am author! Hear me ramble!'
