Yeah, I heard about Amber's movie but it kind of scared me, I had NO idea about Nick's movie and at first I thought they were both on at the same time or something. I don't know my brain didn't register that they were on a month apart. (It's morning)
But COOL!!! I'm so watching both of them. Oh, anyone watch PiƱata: Survival Island? LOL. It's hilarious to laugh at. His wife is in there too.
BAH! Me, too, damn it. And the old man needs absoluely no prodding to watch shitty Sci-Fi Channel crap, so I'm golden on this one. Greaaat. ;) Gotta watch Amber, though. She's basically the last one I can stand. Emma needs to get in on this Sci-Fi bonanza.
It's a SciFi channel movie, which should be... interesting.
(I mean, I was insulting a hack soap writer who had just been fired. Someone posted "What should he do next?" And I suggested that he write SciFi channel movies because they're terrible and cheesy... just like this writer, but the only unforgettably cheesy movie title I could remember was "Mansquito". I went to SciFi channel to look up some other movie titles and... voila! Nicky Brendan's face appeared. Poor guy.)
They could have spent a bit more time on the photoshop. But, I figure they thought they weren't going to spend any time on the CGI (because SciFi movies have such awful CGI they appear on "The Soup" on E!) so why spend time with Photoshop.
You know, while yes, those are some damn fine bags (Gucci or perhaps Louis V), I think he looks BETTER. Not so pansified as the big, pouty poontang from BtVS. My Xander hate will never deminish. I'd like to not dislike NB on that account, so maybe this crap can redeem him. Phhhht.
I actually don't dislike NB at all... some of his more batshit fans? Yes, indeed. And Xander? I have Xander issues. NB was the only thing that held that character together by the end. If not for him, bleugh.
The really scary thing is that Mansquito was infinitely better (because it had no pretensions) than Grendel or the incoherence that was The Lost World.

Date: 2007-01-18 07:03 pm (UTC)But the worst of a long line of really bad, bad SciFi Channel movies was Bruce Campbell's Alien Apocalypse. Damn, that thing sucked hard.
While I probably won't watch Amber's movie, I'll give Nicky's a look.
