WTF? WTF?! WTF?!!!

See Mulder and Scully's expressions? That's pretty much my expression throughout at least half of tonight's episode.

That's just... and the guy... and the thing... and... WTF?

What I did understand.

* Ben killed his father. There. Something simple and direct.

* I also understood that Jack is a controlling ass with a savior complex (seriously,Juliet told him that 'the others' were coming for them and... Jack just decided not to tell anyone until HE decided what to do? Jack is a jackass.

* And it was Ben's father in the VW vans earlier in the season.

So, yeah, I got that. Now for the rest of the stuff...

* Locke had damn well better not be dead!!! I mean it, damn it. Locke had better not die!

* And WTF is Richard?! He hasn't AGED. He's older than Ben, and he hasn't aged. (And wasn't he one who recruited Juliet?)

* Ben and "the Others" freaking Jonestowned the Dharma Initiative. And I'm assuming Ben knew that his childhood friend was being offed. Regardless of what is or isn't in that cabin, Ben is a sociopath.

* And, finally, Freaking shit, there was something in the cabin. And, what the hell was it? The Blair Witch?

* Also let me repeat LOCKE HAD BETTER NOT BE DEAD!!!

That ep... That was messed up. Really, WTF?

Everybody on that island has a God complex. It's not as if Whosis's (parachute girl) presence is common knowledge, either. And how come Juliet's tape didn't include her "I hate you"? Mostly, though, I'm with you in the wtf camp.

Juliet clicked the recorder off before she said "I hate you." It wasn't recorded.

And it's just... Jack always has to be such a control freak. Of course he has to withold information. He's Jack.

It's like, of course Ben's father is evil. It's Lost.

For some reason I thought she clicked it off, then clicked it back on. I must have been hallucinating. *sigh*

Locke isn't dead (no spoiler, just certainty). Why else would they have reminded us that healing happens on the island so quickly, with his bitten hand? Besides, Locke's like the island's favourite son.

Whatever Jacob is, I'll bet that Ben has been manipulating him somehow, and Locke will help him/it escape.

Jack is totally an ass. And I can't believe that after 2.5 seasons I'm actually starting to feel sympathy for Sawyer.

And Kate is nothing more than a little tattletale. Bitca.

Ben killed his father, and so everyone else has to kill theirs? But at least we now know what happened to all the Dharma people. The original inhabitants/hostiles killed them all. But how did Ben get to be the guy in charge? And how did the originals get there anyway? And what are they trying to do now?

As far as for everyone on the plane being dead, I was going to say that it was probably a Hanso foundation ship that reported finding the wreckage... but now that we know that none of the Others is original Dharma anymore, I'm now at a loss.

Hell of a show, though. There had damn well better be some explanations if they don't want me to go mad over the summer...

I agree that there's no way that Locke is dead. And, yes, Jack is a controlling, arrogant ass. Ben, on the other hand is a sociopath! And I'm with you about the everyone on the plane is dead. Either the island caused it to happen (which still leaves us questioning what the island is) or she's lying. Either way, it's creepy.

Locke! He'd better not be dead. The island, it heals. ::nods::

And I slow-mo'd back through the Jacob part and there was a flash of a man sitting in the chair. Weird.

So Ben is a mass murderer. And Jack is more of an ass than I ever thought he could be. The arrogance is astounding.

Still. Go Drew!

Ben is one scary, screwed-up dude!

And, yeah, I saw someone in the chair for a flash as well. It was a seriously creepy scene.

Damn. If Locke is dead, I might not even bother with S2 & S3. Because my Lost OTP is Locke/Island, doncha know.

And--totally random comment--I forgot to say congratulations on finishing your sister's house plans! I hope she knows how lucky she is to have a sis like you. :)

I don't think Locke is dead. Whenever they kill someone Carlton and Lindelhoff do interviews with places like TVGuide and Zap2it. No interviews were posted this morning and resident critics at TV didn't have anything on Locke's death. That makes me virtually certain that he's not really dead. . . though he is probably far more intimately aquainted with the island than he ever expected. :)

And here's hoping that the bids on the plans don't blow the roof off. :)

Jack is a jackass.

Thank you for saying it, and I Totally Agree.

Why, oh, WHY did I ever start watching this show again? Oh, right - DrewGod was part of it. BUT - if Locke is really most sincerely dead? I will have to kick someone (besides myself for getting sucked back in).

I don't think Locke is dead. Usually when they kill someone, the producers have an interview the next morning on TVGuide Online. No interview today and no Ausiello or Matt Roush commenting on the "death of Locke". If it was "real" they'd be commenting.

Hey, Locke survived the broken spine/fall from a high-rise building AND being blown up by the EMP... a simple gunshot wound should be easy enough to recover from. *cough*

BTW, there was an article in the NY Times this week telling how J.J. Abrams has negotiated with ABC for exactly three more seasons - no more, no less - of 16 episodes each (total of 48 remaining episodes after this season's over), to be run without interruption for each season - and then it will END. All questions answered. They want to make sure they wrap things up at their own pace in their own style, and I say YEAH! I wish they'd do that with more shows.

I don't think Locke is dead.

I don't think so either. Though with all the resurrections, I'm beginning to wonder whether any of the rumored deaths at the end of the season will be permanent deaths.

We shall see.

Of course, I've been wondering where Rose and Bernard are, too... (he's the only one of the Tailies we know of who survived - not counting the kids The Others stole!)

If Charlie doesn't die I will be really annoyed. I really don't like him.

And lest it not have been said enough already, Jack is an ass and Kate is a simp.
