Sky on CDS has posted pics of JM on "Without a Trace"   Looking good!

On another note, I ran across not one but two insults of JM on TWOP yesterday (Yeah.  I know.  It's TWOP.  Land of irrational Spike/JM hatred.)   The first decrying the possibility of Heroes' Sylar going all "Spike" and possibly being redeemed and woobiefied {God, I hate that patronizing term}.  You know, other than post souling, I think I missed the point where Spike was insane.  And the second insult was on the sycophantic VM thread (checking to see their reaction to her Heroes casting) where out of the blue  and totally off topic someone complained about JM getting a job on Without a Trace.

Okay, KB worshipper, this is the point where you need to stop whining about Heroes fans being mean, mean, mean with their slightly less than squeeful reaction to her becoming yet another new character (and one who's around for at least half the season) , claiming that people are piling on the poor, poor, brilliant, amazing, stupendous, bestest thing evah! KB.

Pot, this is Kettle,  you're wearing a hot, unfashionable, unflattering shade of black.  I'm just sayin'...

It really is a good thing for JM that he doesn't have a computer (or says he doesn't) isn't it?

Also, if it were up to TWoP, I suppose he just wouldn't get any acting work ever again and then they'd bitch about how he spends all his time being a convention guest.

Oh yeah, there are definitely people who sound like they never want him to work again.

And they're usually people who like to claim how much more intelligent they are than the people who enjoy JM's work.

I think the technical term for them is 'bitter old wankers' love. :0

Heh. True. But the thing is, you usually know where to find them. I just don't like it when they sneak up on me randomly. :)

It's a sort of mote/beam thing really, isn't it?

Rather than comment on the stupid people over at TWoP, I think JM looks great on Without a Trace. And I hate to tell you but it's raining here again, however it's damned hot and humid as well.

You think you can taunt me with this mythical thing called 'rain'? Hah! Next you'll be claim that you know Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. :P

(And it's supposed to be 105 here again today. It was 92 at 8:30 am)

And, yeah, I thought he looked pretty darn good myself. :)

Shares the wet stuff that hasn't stopped falling all day.

Swipes some of the heat, while you're not looking, as its postively chilly here today.

But the boy looks seriously good.

He does look nice.

And god, the heat. It's killer. It's reached the point of insanity now.

Oh yeah, he's looking REALLY good... even in that suit!

It's such a good time to be a JM fan, these days. Without a Trace, Torchwood (and apparently he's going to be back in Cardiff in November, which has me crossing my fingers for him becoming recurring on that show), several concerts in the near future and a big-screen movie... the only thing I could think of that would be better is if he got to star in his own show!

And, even though most of what I've seen of Torchwood hasn't been that great... I think I'm still looking forward to his Torchwood stint the most.

out of the blue and totally off topic someone complained about JM getting a job on Without a Trace.

I didn't read that comment as a complaint about JM getting the role - just that JM's character is "Detective Mars" which is a sad reminder that VM was cancelled - because "Detective Mars" was Enrico Colantoni. That's all!

I only looked on the most recent page, but in the comment I read the poster didn't mention his character's name. Just that JM was on WoT which was why is seemed to be totally off topic and why it took me so off guard.

Well, the comment by Feity on that page was the one I meant - and I think it really is just the character's name that s/he was talking about as 'depressing'.

Shows how skimming works, doesn't it? You only hit the highlights and to someone who gives a darn about VM the "Detective Mars" thing probably stands out. To someone who is more the JM fan, it's the JM and WaT that stood out.

They did love James on the SV forum of TWoP at least! If anything there were complaints that Fine was very underused

Oh there are pockets of JM love on TWoP, it's just that they bolstered a particularly bitter brand of Spike/JM hate for so long that I can't seem to shake the feeling that it's the TWoP default position.
