Why is it that everything hits at once?

Since I had done an initial draft through my seasonal_spuffy story I thought that meant that I'd post it quickly.  Somehow, it has not turned out that way.  Between a killer deadline (with a bunch of overtime) at work and football season, I'm constantly running behind.  Yay, though, that around midnight last night I got through my revision of Chapter Two and sent it off to betas.  Hopefully I'll have it ready to post sometime this week or weekend.

I'll try to get you something useful soon. Assuming that the rest of this week doesn't require ten-hour work days, too. It seems to be going around.
