ETA: And now, having listened to it, it seems an awful lot like fanfic (which isn't an insult, as I really enjoy fanfic) but it really does seem like Sherlock Holmes and Watson find themselves in an alternate universe where Dracula is real (and advertises!) and the world is run by Illyria's "Old Ones" from "Three Deep" (or, more accurately, run by Cthulhu).

Date: 2007-12-11 04:59 am (UTC)I read it a couple of years ago in the Shadows Over Baker Street anthology and was thoroughly creeped out by it, especially by the Jack the Ripper ad. Victoria/Gloriana didn't do much for me either. Ew. Then again, Lovecraft always gives me the willies, histrionic as it is.
