Without a Trace

Okay, so I missed 99% of the episode, but the one scene I saw between JM's character and Vivian near the end of the episode was pretty darn good. Very world weary of him. And he hadn't shaved. Not used to that look on him.

And given the way the scene ended (sounded like his character was resigning) I can see why JM took the Smallville job and thus surprised when Without a Trace wanted him back.

Oh, this wasn't the last episode for him? Good, because I really love him in this role, small as it is. In fact, I was thinking that if the writers ever come back and they were to develop a series for Det. Mars I'd be all over that because it really is a great character for him. I only watch WAT when he's on. *g*

I think it may be. Somewhere he said that he'd worked his five episodes and so then took the return gig on Smallville and has a return shot (I think) on Torchwood. Plus, then he got the film role, so when Without A Trace called wanting more episodes, he wasn't available .

Ah, thank you! I'd completely forgotten that was on tonight... and it doesn't air here for another two hours, so plenty of time to set it up to record!

Damn damn damn! I only saw his first two episodes on WAT. I thought Steve H was going to post the air dates of all his episodes but guess he didn't. Maybe some kind soul has posted all his clips from the show on youtube (off to check).
