You know, there was something quite endearing watching the U.S. Men's Gymnastics team -- all Olympic neophytes, populated by first and second alternates who didn't even initially make the team -- being so openly thrilled and joyous about winning the Bronze Medal. It was worth staying up until midnight to see their happiness.
(And the Chinese gymnasts were astounding and clearly deserving of Gold)

All too often the "seasoned" Olympians are disappointed to the point of anger over anything less than first-place. Them, I just want to shake and say, "You didn't lose the gold; you won the bronze!" I'm glad these guys can see it for the huge accomplishment it is!
