How did I not know about this? From EW.com:
Either it will be wonderful fun to snark because of the artificial drama they create for tv, or it will be like revisiting the horrors of college and the craziness of design studio... only this time I can SLEEP! In fact, I may sleep during the episode just as a form of defiance. See architecture school, when you graduate you can SLEEEEEEEEP! (Not kidding here. Meet an architect and he or she will bitch about the endless sleep deprivation of architecture school. We've all learned to treasure sleep. Any time. Any where. It's something we'll never willingly be deprived of again!)
Hee! I'm totally going to bring this up at work tomorrow!

A-Aren't architects fascinating? Seriously, they're creative and good at math. That dual talent is on full display in this six-part docuseries. As Tulane students compete to design and build a low-cost single-family home in post-Katrina New Orleans, the reality-style competition gets fierce. And as it probes issues of well-meaning design theory versus making a place that's actually habitable and affordable for the community it's targeting, the series becomes compellingly relevant. Like Top Design for people who think. —Ari Karpel
