Skipping real life issues because they're scary and they suck. So, turning to fantasyland.

Heroes
Seems rather disjointed so far this season, but I like what they're doing with Sylar. That's probably the most interesting story they have at the moment.

Chuck
Whee! One show that's just sheer fun. I ended that episode with a smile.

Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother don't quite make my DVR list, which is a shame because I like both of those shows. So... I've scheduled them on my mother's DVR so whenever I'm over there I can watch it.

Sarah Connor Chronicles
One of the better episodes, I thought. Liked this week's focus on Cameron.

In real life, my cough is better but still not cured.

And my office is moving on Friday to a new office (which, luckily is a couple of miles closer to my home), so work is rather chaotic with everyone trying to pack all their crap for the move.

I liked the T:SCC episode, although I'm not sure I understood it. Cameron is obviously a Terminator, but are we supposed to believe she's somehow imprinted with Allison's memories? It seems like the writers might have felt straightjacketed by what Cameron is, and tried to change the rules, like BSG has tended to do with the Cylons.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, either. But, it's been one of the more interesting episodes.

Since I only have a sad two-channel DVR, since Chuck and Heroes came back I have to record The Big Bang Theory and How I Met... the old-fashioned way (with a video tape!); the other channel is DVR'ing Sarah Connor.

So far, enjoying all, although the writers on Heroes really need to get some fanboys on the show to tell them where they're re-hashing all the same old lame X-Men plots - but I do like what they're doing with Sylar. That could get interesting. I sure would like it better if they had let Hiro retain all the lessons he learned last season, even truncated as it was.

Chuck = Awesome.

Of course, I won't be watching the rest until later; all my favorites are on Monday night, so I spread them out through the week. I've really been enjoying Sarah Connor, but I really do wonder how long they can keep it up - the timelines at this point are so convoluted and everything's SO dire -- how long can that be kept up before everything implodes?

I am enjoyoing the Cameron stuff on SCC. Chuck was just pure entertainment (and there's not a darn thing wrong with that!) and it does suck that DVRs cannot manage more than two things at once... and it sucks that for some reason programmers always seem to schedule everything I want to watch in the same timeslots!

Well, that's why I need the new 4-channel Tivo, obviously....

(I'm really not certain how I survived before Tivo.)

I know re: Mondays! I have 4-1/2 hours of stuff on Monday nights: Chuck, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Prison Break, Jon & Kate Plus 8, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. I'd watch Big Bang Theory if there wasn't so freaking much else to watch that night!

And then there are many days with nothing on at all. I don't get it. It's like a conspiracy!

I agree about Heroes. So far, the only bits I'm really interested in are Sylar (with Noah, OMG! I am not going to start slashing them!), Matt's vision quest, Evil!Mama!Petrelli, and (on a much lesser note) what's up with Tracy. The other Petrellis, Hiro & Ando, and Claire are boring me to tears. The jury's still out on Mohinder's story since we didn't get anything on him last night.

I thought last night's T:TSSC was good. I'm really liking what they're doing with the damaged Cameron. And, oh I hope that Ellison is still suspicion of Catherine Weaver.

Yeah, I hate to say it but the Hiro/Ando plot right now is dumb and boring. Frankly, the only things that are intriguing are the Sylar/Noah/Mama Petrelli thing. The rest of it is more than a bit of a snore.

Summer Glau as Cameron is my favorite thing about the SCC and it was nice to see her have some different shades to act other than robot-girl.

I think if the show (hopefully) continues they have to add layers to Cameron. So I'm glad to see them beginning to do so.
