* Have done absolutely no Christmas shopping. I know. I suck.
* Am unsure how in the hell I ever became the structural guru at work. Seriously, sometimes I wonder if we've put out a building in the last year where I wasn't the one required to figure out how in the heck it's put together. I honestly have no clue how that happened.
* Why do we always have impossible work deadlines at Christmas?
* I swear the food being sent to the office has made me gain 10lbs... and we haven't reached Christmas yet. Yikes!
* Bought the Dresden Files audiobook "Small Favor" for a Marsters fix. Yay!
* Finally cashed in the Christmas gift certificate to a day spa that I got last Christmas. (I was afraid it was going to expire after 12 months). 1HR massage (awesome), pedicure and a manicure. Made for a nice Saturday.
* Am totally flabbergasted by Auburn's new football coach hire. Seriously, Auburn? Seriously?!
* Still bummed by the loss of the SEC championship, but... oh well. We played well. Florida won. It happens. Decided not to buy Sugar Bowl tickets. Not worth that kind of money and would have a better view on TV.
* I have Dec. 23 thru Jan. 4 off. Woohoo! Looking forward to that!
* Have been loving Chuck this season.
* Have given up on Heroes this season.
* Can't wait for Lost's new season.
* If OLTL doesn't kill Todd Manning (or at least shoot him) I'm going to be seriously pissed off. Die, Todd! Die! ( They can have as many shirtless Brody scenes as they want, however.)
* Rewatched The Piano this weekend. Still interesting, and still more of Harvey Keitel than any human being should be forced to see.
* Began reading Nora Robert's Morgan's Cross and have found that the 'hero' annoys the shit out of me (figures that I would prefer the vampire, huh. But I have a strong suspicion that the vampire is a dufus too. It's just that right now he's snarkier than the 'hero'.) Don't know when I'll bother reading the rest of it.

eeep! Oh well, maybe you'll run off some of that food you've been munching at the office by rushing around?

And I've completely given up on Heroes as well. I only held on this long because I knew Seth Green was gonna show up, but after that I went cold turkey. Good riddance!

I haven't Christmas shopped either! Ha hah!

My TV didn't work for a month in a half at the beginning of the season, so when I tried to watch Heroes starting in November, I didn't know what the heck was going on. I just knew that he was confusing and boring. I love Chuck! Every character on that show is so adorable. I want to hug each one of them hard.

Harvey Keitel was hilarious in The Last Temptation of Christ. He just comes across as a very strange, weirdo guy to me.

Hee, this made me laugh out loud. So true. And ick. I don't think Keitel has ever been on anyone's list of "OMG I must see his naughty bits in all their naked glory!" Again, bleah.

Glad you're getting through the holidays in one piece, and ditto to YAY NEW LOST. :)

When did Nora Roberts start writing about vampires?

She's always done a bit of sci-fi every now and again, even back during her Silhouette Romance Novel days. This particular one is a series (and I'm going to describe it and it's going to sound insanely stupid). Back in the 11th century, a (wizard/sorcerer) Morrigan's brother has been turned into a vampire by Lilith (I'm wondering whether it's the pre-biblical Lilith as she seems to be the ur vampire as it seems that the whole 'vampire' concept was foreign to them. Then Morrigan is told by some fairy (I said it was going to sound like crack, right?) that he apparently has to avert the end of the world. And that he'll be joined by a witch, a soldier, a vampire, and I've forgotten what the last one was supposed to be. Then he (it only gets crackier from here) gets transported to the 21st century where he finds his brother again. His brother is a vampire who has a hired body guard who turns out to be the 'soldier', and there's also this witch who feels like she's been called... and this is only about a third of the way through the first novel and it's not nearly as much crackilicious fun as it sounds.
