A friend of mine pointed out how weird it is that Penny's father's name is also Charles. I have to say, while I expected Widmore to have been on the island and I knew that they had jumped back in time (Richard had his 50s look) I was flabbergasted when they revealed that soldier was Widmore. And that Richard only visited little Locke because island Locke told him to. Mind-bending.

Except I can't see Desmond naking his child after Charles Widmore so I do think that Des, at least, named him after Charlie. And, wasn't Penny the last person Charlie spoke to before he died (I mean... other than the note to Des). For me, it's Charlie if for no other reason than I like to think it so. :)

And yeah, Locke sending Richard to find Locke was wicked cool.

Isn't the whitehaired woman named Eloise Hawking? I'm not sure their accents match up, though.
