Hieroglyphs in SmokeMonster Temple. (Made up hieroglyphs, too. To quote Charlie... "Where are they?") So Smoke Monster is an ancient Smoke Monster? Maybe SmokeMonster was what was in Indiana Jones' Ark of the Covenant... only it didn't melt Ben's face off (not that I expected it to. I mean, we need Ben around to keep things fun). Dead!Alex is cool, though. Heh.

Date: 2009-04-10 07:16 am (UTC)This episode was all kinds of crazy, especially the lift from The Historian, or maybe the Beatles' Help: insane devotees of the Ancient Squirrely Smoky Beast coming back to the island to protect it or sacrifice to it and otherwise put the beatdown on everyone else. And Ghost!Alex! She was great.
Can I also say how pleased I am that Jack has had such a small part in all this? I hate him and he's been virtually non-existent this season! Wish I could also say the same about Kate.
