Is that like a Farscape perhaps forever cliffhanger or is there another episode next week?

I have to say, that if the show isn't renewed for another season and this was the finale... I'd be totally satisfied.

No word yet if NBC is going to renew. Prolly saving the news for the new season 'up fronts' - whenever that is.

Just occurred to me though - no more Morgan, Anna, Buymore, and Chuck is no longer a nerd. Changes a lot of the appeal for me.

Oh, if it's renewed, I wouldn't count those things out. I think that this was a way for them to write an ending if it is an ending.

Oh yeah, I agree with you. It was weird to see Chuck all superhero-y and stuff, but I liked when he made the decision to re-upload the Intersect.

It was the kind of ending that could satisfy, but at the same time, you can really see that they have some cool stuff to do. Thing is, Schwartz and Fedek have earned a hell of a lot of patience and good will over this past season.

I totally loved his realizing that he can be "that guy", the hero. I mean, he really couldn't take Sarah away from spying. So, I think it was the necessary step. And I'm glad they took it. And I'm glad Ellie got her wedding as well.

I hope the show comes back, but if it doesn't... many shows don't have this good of an ending.

I'm waiting anxiously for the finale to start-- I've got a little over an hour. I have to say it's the only show I really care about at the moment!

I think they did the smart thing and penned an episode that works either way. If the show is picked up, they have an interesting place to start. If it isn't picked up, then they left it at a quite satisfactory place and open ended enough that fandoms can do what fandoms always do, and make up more adventures. I think they did right by the characters.

I agree, if they are forced to end it here, it's a good ending; but I sure hope they have the chance to explore where to go from here!

(On the other hand, I think they finally lost me with "Heroes." I've hung in this long, but oh MAN, that sucked...)
