Well, this morning I felt a bit like death warmed over and was running a temp of 100.6. Took a shower and called my parents so that mom could leave an Egg McMuffin at the door like some breakfast delivering Easter Bunny. I might feel worse, but my stomach is actually better and it was the first time in two days I was actually hungry. Slept a few more hours and, currently and crossing fingers -- I feel human again for the time being. At least I do as long as I stay relatively still in my recliner. Hopefully, I'm through the worst of it. ... I hope.

ETA: Ugh. Temp, which had been down, is now back up to 100.4
ETAII: Temp spike of 101.6 Finally broke down and called sis (an M.D.) and she confirmed my suspicions. I have the flu and there's nothing to do but treat the symptoms. Temp back down in the 100.4 range and feeling slightly better again, but it seems to go in cycles. Sigh.

Yes, but the soda settles my stomach. The water (which is what I drink most of the time) just seems to sit in my stomach like lead and boils.

Although at this point, I'm on apple juice. And I don't have a fever at the moment, so ::fingers crossed::

I've also managed to take a shower and, since the temp is nice, opened several windows to air out the house.
