Day Three in Hell

So. Not. Well.

This bug is really, really unfair.  It eases up at intervals and it seems as though the worst is over, then a few hours later it comes back with a vengeance.  Ugh.   


Had to get out of bed at 4am because I hurt and tranferred to the recliner (which luckily is an ergonomically correct one so it supports head and small of back no matter the angle, making it easier to sleep semi-upright).  Only consolation is TNT replaying "In The Dark" so I get both Spike and Oz.

Other than that... so ready for this bug to go the hell away!

ETA: *whimper*  Temp has been in the high 101s all day.  And even my hair hurts.

I'm ready for this to be over. On the misery index this runs only 3rd to the time I had viral pneumonia and the stomach "flu" rotovirus I had a few years ago.

At this point I just want it to go away. :(

I don't know whether it's cool or pathetic that I recognized what episode it was even before Spike showed up. :)

It actually made being awake since 4am not as heinously awful. (I don't know why I've been sleeping better in the morning than during hours from 3am to 8am. All I know is I'm ready to get BETTER now.

Unfortunately I still have a fever over 101. :(

And it's quite likely that it's swine flu. Local paper says that 93% of the flu cases being reported in the state are swine flu, although my sister says that they've stopped even testing and at this point are just going with the assumption that it's swine flu.

Thank god it's a milder strain. Take care of yourself and if your symptoms start to worsen, please talk to your doctor. I had the flu a few years ago and it knocked me out of work for an entire week.

I think I'm finally on the mend. I haven't had a temp over 100 today and I haven't been aching. So I think I'm finally on the upswing.

And, god yes, I'm glad it's the milder strain. This was more than awful enough.
