Feeling a bit better today.  Haven't hurt like I have been.  My fever has been low, so I think I may at last be on the mend (for realz this time).  I'm easily exhausted and a bit dizzy when I walk around, but that's a hell of lot better than constantly aching.

Unfortunately, I'll also have to miss the game tomorrow.  Sis said for me not to leave the house until I've been fever free for 24 hours and I've had a low grade fever  (less than 100, usually in the high 98s/low 99s).  Plus, I just can't see me maintaining enough energy to go.  On top of that, there's a high liklihood of rain, and I'd hate to pass around this hell virus.  Still, I paid for those tickets and it'll be the first home game I've missed in ten years, so boo.

However, going would be ill advised.  And, at this point I'm just happy to no longer be in complete misery so I'm not doing anything that might cause a relapse.

ETA: No way in hell could I have gone.  I still felt like crap this morning.  No fever though.  That's something, I guess.   We did win, though, 53 to 7

The game will look perfectly good on television. Crowded stadiums are no place for feeling crappy.

True.

Rational logic sucks.

Just caught up on your blog. So sorry to hear you are sick. Oh I have had the flu bad, 101 degree temp with me puking my guts out a few years ago. It's not fun. I do hope you feel better soon, and that it's not the swine flu. You might still want to get that flu shot and the swine flu shot if you under 24 years old. I am so glad I got my flu shot last week. I never want the flu again !!!

Luckily naseau was quite mild and only on the first day. Unfortunately, general misery has been ubiquitous. Haven't run a fever today (still don't feel great but no fever) so hopefully things are slowly getting better.
